Humanism for the Common Good

Humanity is facing unprecedented challenges as a result of technological advance, the destruction of vital habitats, burning fossil fuels, and a breakdown in the rules-based international order. Our Group is exploring the question: What role humanism?

Humanism for the Common Good comprises a small group of experienced grassroots humanists who are concerned to promote humanist thinking and practice. We are working to help tackle the growing threats to democracy and civil society posed by recent advances in information technology and social change, and not least the growing menace posed by an epidemic of online misinformation and the potentially existential threat from poorly regulated Artificial Intelligence [AI] and catastrophic climate breakdown.

This is a temporary home for Humanism for the Common Good while we explore our options for a more permanent base.
